Ling brought egg tarts back from HongKong. They might look ugly with cracks but they are so damn delicious that i gobbled 3 of them in clinic!
2 Sundays ago was our clinic's appreciation dinner at The Pines Club. It marks the end of 28 years the pioneer doctors built from scratch, one clinic to 5 branches now. Thou the clinic is sold to a different management, our contracts remain. Anyway, was kinda disappointed with the token i received. Less than my last year's bonus! Nonetheless, it's additional money.
My colleague, Eliz. Very motherly. She was also very disappointed with the amount she received.
Had this very nice yong tau foo located at Changi Road on Hari Raya with Rog and my parents. Their abacus seed aka suan pan zi is soft and chewy. And it has fried shallots+cuttlefish as toppings!
